More than 130,000 sq ft of warehouse space at Darlington’s Lingfield Point has been let.
The three-year agreement with Premofab was negotiated by Connect Property North East
The unit will be used for storage and follows the 76,000 sq ft letting to Magnet.
Jonathan Simpson, of Connect Property, said: “The arrival of Premofab underlines the strength of Lingfield Point as a strategically positioned warehousing facility located midway between Teesside and Newton Aycliffe.
“The letting is the biggest of the year so far in Darlington.”
Eddie Humphries, estate manager at Lingfield Point, added: “This is a big deal both for us and for the warehousing and logistics industry in the North East.
“We love to welcome new tenants and invite them to become part of our business focussed environment – taking advantage of our 24-hour concierge and security service, CCTV and number plate recognition technology.”
Lingfield Point is currently home to more than 3,000 workers.
